User-defined categories specify what should be done with the result of a download.
Each category specifies:
- The Folder or full path for final storage (relative folders are based of your complete folder, full paths are also allowed)
- How the file should be unpacked (nothing/repaired/repaired+unpack/repair+unpack+delete rars)
- The user-script to execute after the download (script defined in [configure-directories config>folders]).
- Newzbin-categories and/or group names that will automatically apply this category to downloads.
In the above example specifies that any job flagged as movies will be unpacked ('D'), will be stored in d:\video and afterwards, the user script "iso-unpack.cmd" will be launched.
Also all newzbin reports with category Movies and TV will be handled as user category "movies".
Non-newzbin jobs that are downloaded from alt.binaries.free.film will also be handled as "movies".
Don't forget to click the save button for each change!
You can set the category in the main page when entering NZB files, but you can also change it later when the job is in the queue.
Watched Folder
The Watched Folder has support for categories too. Allowing you to create a directory named after a category in your watched folder, saving an nzb/zip/rar there will apply that category to it. See the Watched Folder page for more info.
